The neighborhood of Northwest Carmel is located just north of Carmel-by-the-Sea. Most of these homes are within walking distance of all of the Carmel-by-the-Sea amenities and just minutes from Carmel Beach and sand dunes. Residents are also in close proximity of Pebble Beach. There are two parks located in the Northwest, the first is Forest Hill Park located off Camino Del Monte and the second is First Murphy Park which is near the First Murphy House that is the current home of the Camel Heritage Society. The First Murphy house was built in 1902 by M.J. Murphy and was the first of more than 300 homes M.J. Murphy built in the early 1900s. Obviously, Northwest Carmel offers a variety of amenities in walking distance from residents that choose to call this neighborhood home.

The median list price in this area is $992,500 and the median sales price is $1,075,000. The average square footage is about 1,454 square feet and $900 price per square foot.
